Dentures are a set of prosthetic teeth used as an oral appliance to replace multiple missing teeth. They help restore the functionality of the mouth and the visual appearance of your smile. Depending on the need, you may require one of two types of dentures:
Partial dentures — Used when you have multiple missing teeth but still retain some of your original teeth, partial dentures fill in the spaces between existing natural teeth to form a comfortable and complete smile.
Complete dentures — This type of denture is used when a patient is missing all of their natural teeth. It covers the full dental arch of the bottom or top of the mouth and is held in place by a dental adhesive.
In each of these cases, the denture is custom made by our dentists for a fully comfortable fit. We will take a mold of your mouth to create the denture and send it to a dental lab to have the appliance made. Once it is completed, our dentists will adjust the fit and appearance of the denture until it accurately matches the contours of the mouth for the best possible results.
